To attain a minimalist look with a clean skin finish, one should start with skincare using a light and hydrating moisturiser and primer to then apply this as a base. The sheer foundation or skin tint or BB cream can be applied to balance out the complexion but leave the signs of natural skin texture visible. Apply concealment in those areas and blend well to have a smooth appearance. Make the eyes plain with neutral or a light wash of colour with a little bit of defined brows and one coat of mascara. A touch of cream blush is necessary to give it a natural warmth, and will help to skip contouring.
