This picture gives a visual overview of your child of his recent medical exam by a pediatrician, including the developmental milestones and growth patterns. In our visit today we had taken height, weight, and other vital indicators which have been plotted in a standard growth chart- the curve depicted here. This will enable us to monitor their progress as they age and make comparison with healthy percentiles by children in the same age category. This is a visual tool that I would use as your paediatrician so that your child is growing as expected and at the expected milestones and stages corresponding to your child age bracket. It enables us to recognise areas that can require some form of improvement or even an early intervention promptly.
