How to Color
Paint the hat of the Santa In a clear bright red color you can darken some areas along folds and the edges with darker red paint. Flock the fluffy and the pom-pom with a light brownish gray, which whites and slightest tint of grey softens into a look of genuine feather-fluffy. His face may be shaded in warm peach or tan, with soft pink to cheeks and nose so as to bring rosy warmth. The eyes can be either blue, brown and green and there are small white dots to produce the twinkle effect. Beard and moustache are coloured, with soft white, slightly tinged with pale grey on the edges and under the mouth to make them recede. Light shadows can be drawn to surface of hat and face. To add additional holiday atmosphere, the background may be stained in light blue or white snow and the smiling face of Santa will appear all the more beautiful.
